“The future is both created and negotiable”

According to a survey conducted by The Heat Group, 69.1% of Aussie Mums believe the skills they’ve developed as mothers makes them more employable and better at their jobs.  At the Career Development Centre we believe that too, but where do you start?

Emotions and uncertainty can be barriers to us making that leap of faith back into the workforce.  Guilt about leaving our children, self-doubt and fear can leave us with more questions than answers and action.  At the Career Development Centre trained Career Practitioners can help you navigate your uncertainties, motivate you to be bold and provide practical solutions to re-inventing yourself and transitioning from a stay a home mum to a working mum.

Don’t compare yourself to other mum’s who seem to breeze through their working day, school run, dinnertime and bedtime routines.  Instead of focussing on others, focus on you!  We can support you to build your confidence, raise your self-esteem and showcase your qualities as an employee and land the job that is right for you and your family.

Counselling sessions are offered face-to-face, over the telephone or using Zoom video conferencing, so that we can reach you wherever you are and whatever your situation find yourself in.

At the Career Development Centre trained professional Counsellors, Psychologists and Career Development Practitioners are available to support you to make informed decisions regarding your career and all of your options moving forward.
